Atlas V2 by Faded is a solo/duo/trio base design that has a perfect balance between offline and online protection. It features 3 vending machine bunker loot rooms, all spread apart which adds to the raid cost. The core is also bunkered up. The shooting floor has a specially designed head glitch peak which is almost impossible to shoot you from and has other great inner peaks for online defending. The base can be built either with only one TC or with external TC:s with compound, it’s all up to you to decide. It features a roof camping tower to fulfill all your roof campers’ nasty dreams.

What makes this base great:
The Hefty Saint by spinky is the Rust quad base design you want to build as a quad. The base has anti-siege, furnace funnel, roof bunkers, double wide gaps, lots of bedrooms, great turret placements, and much more. The bunkers are spread around the base on the roof, as external TC, and in the core for added raid cost. There are lots of loot rooms to store all your loot. It’s easy to navigate around the base. The shooting roof is built with a lot of great peaks for added online protection and makes defending the base easy. The funnel area has bedrooms with lockers for fast respawns. It’s all-around an excellent base and perfect for a quad.
Optimal Team Size: Trio/Quad.
Build: 47k stone 70k metal, 600 high quality metal.
Upkeep: 8k stone, 13k metal, 100 high quality metal.

What makes this base great:
FABERGÈ by Crow is a total beast of a Rust clan base. It takes a total of 141 rockets just to get all the loot which is a LOT of sulfur. It has all the things a clan wants, a large open core loot room, a large roof with room for scrap heli, 3 armored roof bunkers which adds up the raid cost a lot, a funnel compound, bedrooms on the roof, and in the funnel wall, quick way to the roof and much more. Its roof and funnel wall got great peaks and I have had a blast protecting this base from online raids, and they have never succeeded with a raid on this clan base design. The starter has room for a lot of bags for respawns and has lots of loot rooms for all your loot. Whenever I am playing in a clan or a large group of 6-9 players, we build this base.
Optimal Team Size: Group of 6-9 players.
Build: 157k stone, 88k metal, 784 high quality metal.
Upkeep: 33k stone, 31k metal, 184 high quality metal.
Rockets to raid: 141 rockets
What makes this base great:
The Noir by spinky is a great base for a trio/quad or small group. It has a high raid cost of 92 rockets thanks to its armored roof bunkers and core bunker which makes it great for offline protection. It also has a nice roof with some good peaks and a really nice compound and the overall movement around the base is great which makes it very good for online protection as well. It has 3 bunkered externals so no one is going to grief the base design any time soon. The turrents around this base are placed with a lot of thought in mind and they cover a lot and are very hard for raiders to deal with. I love playing in this base when I’m playing as a trio/quad or small group and I highly recommend it.
Optimal Team Size: Trio/Quad/Small group.
Build: 78k stone, 86k metal, 600 high quality metal.
Upkeep: 14k stone, 19k metal, 100 high quality metal.
Rockets to raid: 92 rockets
What makes this base great:
The Super Simple Vanilla V2 by Crow is the perfect design for the Rust player who doesn't want to build anything difficult and get the base up fast. It’s great for snowballing and you can choose if you want a compound and external TC or not. For online protection, it has a great shooting floor with superior peaks, two ways in and out of the base, and retakes. It is also great offline protection because of its core bunker and hidden bunkers which are built into the external walls, which adds up the raid cost a lot. I have test raided this base and to get all the loot in all the bunkers it’s a total of 58 rockets to raid, just for the loot. That’s a lot for such a cheap base design. If I am playing a wipe as a solo/duo/trio and want an easy-to-build and still very strong base, this is my go-to.
Optimal Team Size: Solo/Duo/Trio.
Build: 63k stone, 13k metal 240 high quality metal.
Upkeep: 8.4k stone, 5.6k metal, 57 high quality metal.
Rockets to raid: 58 rockets
What makes this base great:
These are all good Rust Base Designs but the best Rust Base Design for you is the one that suits your needs. A solo player might need a smaller solo base than a clan and a more active player might need more focus for online protection than offline protection. Take this into consideration and choose one from the top 5 that suits your needs. If you need more inspiration we have a comprehensive search function for you to use on our home page where you can find exactly the base for your needs.
